Care Philosophy

Dr. Atkins has been involved in quality of medical care issues for over thirty years. He served as chairman of the Quality Assurance Committee for the hospital from 1970 to 1982. In subsequent years he has extended this interest to the national level and is now one of the busiest surveyors for the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Dr. Atkins serves as a mentor for beginning surveyors and is a member of the Corporate Council for Health Care America.
